| Fires continue to burn on Thursday May 15 outside the town of Greer, Arizona. |
A fire started on Tuesday just outside the town of Greer and has quickly grown to over 7,000 acres. It continues to spread despite the efforts of hundreds of fire fighters. High winds and dry vegetation make it difficult to contain. The residents of the town of Greer, as well as other nearby towns like Eagar, have been evacuated. Even though the Greer family ranch was located in Hunt (and out of the danger zone of this fire), the town of Greer still has ties to the family. And we know that, if this were in their day, Orpha and John Harris would have been at the forefront of providing all of the aid that they could for their neighbors.
